Originating in the 1940s, the Gibson J-45 Historic Acoustic-Electric Guitar is still the choice of top recording artists. It's a compact guitar with soft shoulders and a short scale (24-3/4"). It features scalloped and tuned bracing, body binding, mother-of-pearl dot markers, and vintage nickel tuners. The top is solid Sitka spruce, back and sides are mahogany, bridge and fretboard are rosewood. Equipped with a Fishman active transducer for amplified gigs. Includes deluxe Gibson hardshell case ($230 value).
